Malta Society of Model Makers

GasanMamo recently supported the Malta Society of Model Makers 2014 Annual Exhibition that was held between March 29 and April 6 at the Catholic Institute in Floriana . The exhibition was open to the general public who were entertained with a display of scale models and engineering, featuring items such as marine models, figures, war-gaming figures, radio controlled boats and cars, engineering, AFV’s, dioramas, aircraft and car models. The MSMM is a non-governmental, non-profit making and non-ideological society with the main role of enhancing scale modelling within the Maltese society.

The society holds regular weekly meetings, were the members have the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and discuss modelling techniques. The exhibition is the society’s main yearly event and promotes the work and talent of their members and gives an insight of the society to the general public. The committee also organises lectures, visits to museums, historical places, dinners and other social events.
